The beginning of 2025 is an important moment for Phewe. The singer known as the vocalist of the pop band Tahta starts the year by releasing her latest single titled PHP. This song tells the story of the bitterness of love that is filled with false hope.

The term PHP or Pemberi Harapan Palsu (Giver of False Hopes) is familiar to many, especially the younger generation. Phewe expressed that this song is inspired by the many young people, especially Gen Z, who often experience bitter experiences in love. "That's why I brought this song to be made into a single," said Phewe.

The song PHP depicts the feelings of someone who hopes too much in love, only to eventually realize that everything is just a lie. The lyrics reflect the pain felt when someone we love turns out not to be serious at all.

From a musical perspective, Phewe emphasizes that the arrangement of this song is very different compared to the songs he performed with Tahta. Although he was involved in creating the songs of that band, PHP shows a different side of his musicality as a soloist. "Indonesian music lovers will feel something different but still easy listening. And of course, this song reflects many real-life situations," he said.

The creative process of this song began in September 2024 and is part of a series of five songs that he is preparing. Phewe admitted that there were unique challenges in working on this song because he did everything himself, from the lyrics to the arrangement. “I made it from the lyrics, arrangements, and so on. Of course, it has its own challenges, but I still feel satisfied and more all out. The challenge was more about the self-confidence that I might have felt at times,” he revealed.

After that, Tahta released the album "Nyanyian Hati" (2008) and "Dunia Laki-Laki" (2010). Since then, they have held a special place in the hearts of Indonesian pop music fans. Now, Phewe is stepping forward with his solo work and continues to show his existence in the music industry at home.
