Project Pop finally released their latest album titled '2856' after 11 years. Interestingly, this album features many collaborators, one of whom is Nagita Slavina.
During the press conference for the launch of the 2856 album in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon, June 28th, Tika Pangabean revealed an interesting moment when collaborating with Raffi Ahmad's wife.
Tika Pangabean said that during that moment, Nagita was pregnant with Cipung. Apparently, this new album has been prepared since 2021. "When Nagita was recording, Cipung was still in her belly," said Tika Pangabean.
Tika also explained the reason why they invited Nagita Slavina to be involved in their new album.
According to her, Nagita is a strong figure who is believed to be able to attract public attention.
"Nagita is a very strong figure, her name is also well-known and she can sing well and correctly with a good voice," said Tika.
Tika added that they could have chosen another singer to collaborate with.
However, for various reasons, they still chose Nagita, and fortunately Nagita happily agreed to be involved in this 2856 album.
"We could have chosen Raisa, Yura, Tiara Andini but why did we choose Nagita? Because she is a popular celebrity and, most importantly, she has a good voice," said Tika.
"Actually, we weren't very sure if Gigi would agree, but it was Gigi and Raffi who immediately welcomed it, so this collaboration happened," she added.
