Collaboration with Young Director, Rendy Pandugo Releases Music Video for Latest Single Home

Kapanlagi.com - On October 9, 2020, Rendy Pandugo released a new song titled HOME, which is his first single after taking a break from the music world. To continue the euphoria and promotion of the song, Rendy finally released a music video for it.

Interestingly, in the production of the HOME Music Video, Rendy Pandugo collaborated with a young director named Ivan Saputra Alam (Athea Visuals). The production process was done during this pandemic and took place in Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java.

HOME is the first project between Athea Visuals & Rendy Pandugo. Wonderland Records, the new label where Rendy Pandugo is signed, appointed Athea Visuals to work on the music video for HOME. The reason is that both Wonderland Records, Athea Visuals, and Rendy himself share the same vision, which is to show that Audio & Visual are two elements that support each other to make a release perfect.

"Collaborating with young talents is one of the ways for me to keep the spirit of creativity burning, and one of the reasons I work with Ivan is because I'm very curious about what's in his mind to depict the story in my song," said Rendy Pandugo.

The concept of war is the main menu in this music video. In addition to being inspired by the story of soldiers longing for 'Home' to meet their families, Ivan, as the director, was inspired by his own feelings when he was traveling far but couldn't come back. The longing for home and the concept of war are expected to convey a message that we should still be grateful for having a home and loved ones inside it.

“Shooting in the midst of a pandemic, where the concept itself requires detailed and complex execution techniques, and how to make the audience emotionally relate and immerse in the world inside the music video, even though they have never experienced the atmosphere of war,” explained Ivan when asked about the challenges he felt during the shooting.
