Band Rupadhatu Presents Chairil Anwar's Work in Their Debut Mini Album

Kapanlagi.com - Never running out of talent, the Indonesian music scene welcomes a new group, Rupadhatu. Not only a single, they immediately release a mini album full of creative ideas in each song.

Rupadhatu's music group releases their debut mini album titled Mana. In this first project, Rupadhatu explores the concept of existence, self-contemplation, and discourse about dreams in the modern world.

1. Unique Music

A music project consisting of Sacawiruna (vocals, guitar, flute), Moh. Hakim (guitar, electronic instruments), Zajran (drums), and Raynaldi Wahyu (percussion), explores various rhythmic patterns with percussive beats, as well as simple dialectic lyrics wrapped in pentatonic and atmospheric tones.

2. Epic Theme

Composed of five songs, the creative process of Mana has been collectively developed since 2014. Through Mana, Rupadhatu borrows terminology from the archipelago's epics to capture the reality of modern life, social-digital phenomena, worldly dualism, odes to extinction, and metaphysical aspects.

"We try to manifest metaphysical energy in the process of exploring ideas and creating through the medium of music with themes from previous epics that are still considered relevant," explained Rupadhatu.

3. Works of Chairil Anwar

All of his ideas are expressed in every song, without exception the idea to recycle the works of the bohemian poet, Chairil Anwar, in the song Aku. Mana can already be heard on several digital music streaming services.
