After Rey Mbayang, Wawan Datu Launches Ravil Ravv, a Solo Singer Discovered from Exploring Instagram

Kapanlagi.com - Newcomer solo singer Ravil Ravv has just released his latest single titled 'Mengalir Saja' (Just Flow). A song written by Wawan Datu, a composer and music producer who has also created songs sung by Calvin Jeremy, Aliando Syarief, Teuku Rasya, Nikita Willy, Rey Mbayang, and Angga Aldi Yunanda.

After successfully producing renowned artists, now Wawan Datu has recruited a talented young singer named Ravil Ravv. This 19-year-old singer is trusted by Wawan to perform his latest work titled 'Mengalir Saja' (Just Flow).

"A producer has their own feeling, if they have a lot of experience I tend to see if they have talent but don't know how to progress. Rey Mbayang from our area came here, I'm sure he has the entertainer soul," said Wawan Datu at Raja Uduk Pontianak, South Jakarta, Saturday (22/8/2020).

"Initially Ravil was found on Instagram explore. He did a very relaxed cover, I wanted a singer with a unique character and different voice. He has a different voice character, fresh look, and different vocals. Then I made a song in front of him. So when making the song, he was in front of me and it took 30 minutes to finish. He saw the process of making the song," added Wawan Datu.

Under the music label WAW Entertainment, the song "Mengalir Saja" has been released on radios throughout Indonesia. What makes me proud is that the song has received a good response from the public.

"It's been aired on the radio and entered the charts, they said. I told Ravil, music requires a lot of effort to achieve what we want. Music brings creations, if acting is done after getting a role. With music, the creation will continue throughout his life," said Wawan.

The song "Mengalir Saja" tells the story of someone who likes someone else's girlfriend. "The story is about someone who meets someone and falls in love, but that person already has a boyfriend. But the girl also looks at me. Well, she has a boyfriend. It's more about the story of young people," said Wawan.

3. Ravil's Experience

Apparently, unintentionally, the song written by Wawan was once experienced by Ravil, who had a crush on someone else's girlfriend.

"Honestly, I have experienced liking someone else's girlfriend. So, what can I do? I just let it flow. When I first heard it, it was really cool, especially considering it was made in just 30 minutes. And the lyrics are really related to my experience," said Ravil.

In the entertainment world, besides music, Ravil has also starred in several FTV titles. In fact, he also briefly joined one of the artist management companies in the country. "I just played in FTV with my friends for fun. There was information about casting, so I joined. I was part of the management for a short time. Yeah, there were five FTV titles," Ravil concluded.
