Gandeng Tuan Tigabelas, F.C.K.O Finally Releases Debut Single Titled 'Never Let You Go'

Kapanlagi.com - Vocal group For Cool Kids Only (F.C.K.O) has finally taken a big step into the music industry of the homeland. Previously known for covering songs, the trio consisting of Raissa, Vontian, and Dandi has released their debut single titled Never Let You Go under the record label BRO's Music.

In their debut single, F.C.K.O collaborated with Tuan Tigabelas. Additionally, several other Indonesian musicians were involved in the production of Never Let You Go, such as Abhi Laksana as the music producer and Irvnat as the vocal director.

"This is the first time we dared to create music and write lyrics. So far, we have enjoyed the process. Although we are quite gloomy individuals, the process has been challenging due to the unique genre and mood of this song. But finally! We hope that people who listen to this song can enjoy it, and shout out to Tuan Tigabelas for making this song even cooler. 1. Short Production Process

The production process of Never Let You Go can be considered quite short. However, there were some obstacles encountered by Raissa CS, so there were some things that had to be rearranged.

"Me, Dandi & Raissa wrote Never Let You Go almost finished within 2 weeks. The difficult part at the beginning was determining the tempo of the song itself. I remember, initially this song was in a tempo of 110 - 120, which was really upbeat. But because of the difficulty of singing at that tempo, we finally lowered it to the current tempo. We all feel that the current tempo is just right. We are really grateful for this tempo because when Tuan Tigabelas entered to fill in the rap, everything blended perfectly," added Tian.

2. Mixed Feelings Experienced by Dandi

Meanwhile, this debut single holds deep meaning for Dandi. The reason is because it is his first work, so his feelings were mixed when the song was first released on August 7, 2020.

"For me personally, the song Never Let You Go is very challenging because it's the first time I wrote my own lyrics and turned it into my own song, but not only challenging, this single also makes me curious, happy, scared, and creates mixed feelings. And with the presence of Tuan Tigabelas, it adds to the curiosity and excitement. But hopefully, with all our efforts, the message of this song can be delivered and every note can also reach the hearts of the listeners," concluded Dandi.
