Heartwrenching, Nissa Risky Releases Song About Deceased Brother in Pushcart

Kapanlagi.com - The viral pushcart street performer, Nissa Risky, is ready to make waves in the Indonesian music industry. Held at Janjian Kafe Ciawi, Nissa released her single Bidadari (Angel) on her 18th birthday, Friday (25/9).

The song Bidadari is Nissa Risky's second single as a professional singer under the TA Pro Music & Publishing label. She intentionally chose her birthday as the release date because of the emotional connection between the song Bidadari and her life journey.

"This song is truly heartwrenching, it tells the story of someone losing their sibling who passed away due to illness. This song is a genuine expression of a real-life story," said Tole Sutrisno, Director of TA Pro.

In fact, Nissa also lost her sister, who was sick while busking. "At that time, Nissa's sister died in the pushcart used for busking because of illness," added Tole.

It took a lot of effort for Nissa to complete the recording of the song Bidadari. Every time she started a vocal take, Nissa couldn't hold back her tears. Even during the making of the music video, Nissa had to be calmed down several times, so she could continue the filming process.

"I'm really sad. It's unbearable when I remember the incident when my sister passed away. We used to busk as a family. At that time, we thought my sister was still sleeping. But when we woke her up, she didn't wake up. Little did we know that she had already passed away," said Nissa, while holding back her tears.

"This song really represents me. Whenever I sing this song, I always cry," she added.

2. Title of the Orphanage Compensation

Through the song Bidadari (Angel), Nissa hopes that her late sibling can see and feel that she and the family miss him greatly. As a form of gratitude for completing the production of the song Bidadari, Nissa intentionally chose her birthday moment to release it, along with an event of providing compensation to orphaned children.

"I consider these orphaned children as my siblings. Hopefully, their prayers can provide a bright path for my sibling in heaven," Nissa expressed.

In addition to releasing the single and providing compensation, Nissa also entertained the orphaned children by singing several songs. Nissa also hopes that the prayers of the orphaned children can pave the way for them to achieve their dreams of becoming professional singers and be on par with their idol, Rita Sugiarto.
