Singer Duet Bonn and Thalia Debut Singing Denny Chasmala's Song

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Denny Chasmala has just created a song for a duet singer named Bonn and Thalia titled Jadian. This young singer duo is the winner of the Di Rumah Aja Challenge 2 event held by EVENTORI on April 15, 2020, in the midst of the pandemic.

As a songwriter, Denny has a wealth of experience. He is known as a musician who often creates songs for top singers in Indonesia, such as Reza Artamevia, Krisdayanti, Titi DJ, Shanty, and many more.

Because of his experience, Denny Chasmala was entrusted by Bedi Gunawan, Head of Talent Management at Eventori, to write a song titled Jadian.

"I made this song after meeting them. I just thought, what lyrics would make them sing it nicely. Well, I made it as if they were in a relationship. Hearing their voices, I quickly made this song. It only took about 5 minutes," said Denny Chasmala in a virtual press conference on Wednesday (26/8/2020).

Meanwhile, Bonn and Thalia are happy to have a song by Denny Chasmala. Because, in their debut as professional singers, Bonn and Thalia were immediately given a song by a famous songwriter.

"As for me, honestly, it's a mix of emotions. There's happiness, but also nervousness. Because, this is our debut. I'm really happy to have a song from Mas Dencas (Denny Chasmala's nickname). Because, the song is really cool and at that time we were offered more than one song. Well, whatever is given to us is definitely good," said Bonn.

"Honestly, I didn't know much about Om Dencas before. But, when I saw his profile, it was really amazing. I feel like there's so much to learn from Om Dencas," added Thalia.

2. Short Recording Process

The single Jadian was released by Eventori in collaboration with YWMF. It tells the story of two young people who fall in love with each other, but are too shy to express their feelings.

The recording process for this song was quite short, only 3 days in Denny Chasmala's recording studio. The production was assisted by Doddy IS Kahitna as an experienced vocal arranger.
 
"Bonn & Thalia sang it perfectly, hopefully those who listen can relive the feelings of each couple when they first started dating. Sometimes, humans forget how happy and beautiful the feeling of falling in love together is," concluded Denny Chasmala.
