Kapanlagi.com - After years of hiatus, Gya Anandini finally decided to make a comeback in the music industry. Gya marked her comeback by releasing a romantic single titled Kau Cinta Matiku.
Upon investigation, Gya had planned to make a comeback since 2010. However, her desire had to be postponed in order to focus on completing her Master's degree. Moreover, after that, she got married and had children, which made her schedule even busier.
Gya herself was often asked by fans to make a comeback. Therefore, in the past few months, she has been pampering her fans by releasing her first and second albums digitally. As it is known, in 2004, Gya released the album SEMOGA KAU MENGERTI. This album earned Gya several nominations at prestigious events, such as 'Best Newcomer' at the SCTV Music Awards.
"Music and singing are Gya's soul. Gya always wants to return to the music world, and she feels that the market for pop-mellow songs with a hijab-wearing singer is still very limited. That's why Gya dared to make a comeback in 2020," Gya said in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

Through 'Kau Cinta Matiku', Gya tells a story of a deep love felt by someone towards their lover. Their love is so strong that they are willing to do and sacrifice anything.
"Yes, this single is about someone who loves their lover so much. But they are always disappointed. However, because they love them so much, they are willing to give everything to their lover," explains the singer, who is a Cancer zodiac sign.

Although it has been a while since Gya took a break, her distinctive style and characteristics are still evident in the single 'Kau Cinta Matiku'. She intentionally did not change her musical style so that fans can feel a nostalgic atmosphere of the past.
Not alone, Gya was also assisted by Rozi Fathoni and Agi Anggadarma from DSS Music as Executive Producers, Satrio Pratomo as A&R, Vocal Director, and Producer, as well as responsible for mixing this song. Meanwhile, renowned Indonesian musician, Tohpati, was directly involved in the song as the Composer, Arranger, and Producer.
"I hope this song can remind many people to love someone who loves us until our last breath," she concludes.
