Attached to the Korean Image, Reza Darmawangsa Introduces New Single in Indonesian

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Reza Darmawangsa in early July 2020 successfully won the contest to sing a new cover song by Treasure member, Bang Yedam from YG Entertainment. Despite achieving such a achievement, Reza did not become complacent.

Recently, Reza released a single titled Yang Kurasa under the Alfarecords label. The single is an adaptation of his previous song titled I'm In Love which he wrote in English.

"Actually, I didn't expect that I'm In Love would be made into a project in Indonesian. When I signed with Alfarecords, my first project was Yang Kurasa," said Reza through a virtual application, not long ago.

On social media itself, Reza has quite a large following, understandable since he is skilled at singing Korean songs, which are certainly liked by the Indonesian people, especially women.

"We want to see how enthusiastic my fans or followers are with Indonesian songs because the two songs I released before were in English," he said.

The single Yang Kurasa itself tells the story of restlessness after breaking up with a partner and finding boredom within oneself, until suddenly someone approaches and makes them smile.

"The hope is that this song can represent all friends and I also use a real story, about us as millennials who fall in love again after experiencing heartbreak or failure in previous relationships," said Reza.

"When we are tired of heartbreak and suddenly someone comes along and makes our days better and heals from previous wounds," he concluded.
