'When You Leave', New Single that Becomes Dirly Idol's Heart Confession

Recently, the man whose real name is Dearly Dave Sompie has been collaborated with a record company named @legendamusikindo to work on a single titled When You Leave.

When he was first introduced to the song When You Leave, Dirly admitted that he was instantly captivated. Therefore, it didn't take long for him to sign a contract with @legendamsikindo.

"After I listened to it, the song is good. And a song like this feels like it has been a part of my life before. After hearing the song, the next day I immediately signed the contract," said Dirly when he was recently met.

Not long after signing the contract, Dirly immediately entered the recording studio. From several vocal takes, the first demo that was taken actually felt the most powerful and suitable to be listened to.

"Initially, we recorded for demo purposes. The next day, we recorded again for the serious version. But it turned out that we didn't take any parts from the second recording. Instead, the feeling and mood were even more 'captured' in the demo recording. That feeling came out naturally without being fabricated," he said.

From the title, it can be guessed that Disaat Kau Pergi (When You Leave) takes on the theme of love. The story is about a man who has deep love for a woman. However, unfortunately, the lover tends to ignore that feeling.

"The story depicted in this song is like a flashback from my life journey. Then when it is sung, there is a feeling that is difficult for me to explain, which suddenly comes out," explained Dirly.

2. Recording Process Runs Quickly and Smoothly

Dirly's experience in the recording studio made the production process of his song run very smoothly. Meanwhile, the famous musician, Andi Rianto, also participated in the arrangement of the music.

"The production of the single 'Disaat Kau Pergi' went very well. Dirly has a lot of experience, so he helped us in the recording process and even the production of the music video, until everything could be resolved well. We are also grateful and thankful to Andi Rianto for arranging this song beautifully," said Director of Support & Business Development @legendamusikindo, Faisal Nurdin.

The single 'Disaat Kau Pergi' is recorded as the third release from @legendamusikindo in recent weeks. Previously, there was the single 'Yang Terakhir' released in June 2020. Then there is also the single '3 Hari' launched in early July 2020.

@legendamusikindo will continue to be present in the Indonesian music industry with a number of new singles. Several musicians and singers from various genres will be collaboratively engaged, such as Lobow, Alwin, and Ope. In addition, Dudy Oris, former vocalist of Yovie & the Nuno, has also joined @legendamusikindo to work on a single that will also be released in the near future.
