Disappointed with Ressa Herlambang, Michelle Amanda Now Chooses Herself

"For this second single, I am now doing it by myself, without Ressa Herlambang. Now I sing and produce it myself," said Michelle Amanda in Jakarta.

Michelle Amanda said that she had collaborated with Ressa Herlambang in 2017 when she first entered the music industry. At that time, she asked for Ressa's help to produce her debut single titled Cinta Telah Pergi.

"I am no longer working with Ressa because there were some projects that did not align with the agreement we made, so it was biased. That's why I decided that we couldn't be on the same team anymore. So I decided to stop and she agreed. That's the main idea," said the woman born on December 19, 1995.

According to Michelle, she experienced significant losses while working with Ressa. "Hundreds of millions. Back then, I was still new, really clueless, still didn't understand much. Now I know 'oh, it turns out that producing a song is not as amazing as that,'" she said.

Michelle admitted that she wanted to take her case with Ressa to the legal realm. However, it was not done because she chose to be sincere and take lessons from the experience.

"I could have taken her to court, but I wanted my money back. We had met before, made a new agreement, but she violated it again and she disappeared, I don't know where, and I'm also too lazy to look for her. But it's okay, I decided to be sincere, fortune won't go anywhere. Just consider it a lesson," she said.

3. More Optimistic and Dedicated

Now, without Ressa, Michelle claimed to be more optimistic and dedicated in her work.

"Honestly, for this single, I am much more optimistic and confident. Now I can be more dedicated and express all the ideas from all the concepts I want. When we were together, combining two minds into one had more obstacles," she said.

4. About the Song 'Cinta Tanpa Status'

According to Michelle, for their second single titled Cinta Tanpa Status, it still falls under the pop genre with easy listening arrangements. She hopes that this work of hers will be accepted by music enthusiasts.

"This song is very mellow, its arrangement can evoke a sense of melancholy as it tells the story of someone who has been left by their partner. Hopefully, the public will accept my second single," she said.
