Andi Rianto released the single "Yang Terakhir" which was beautifully sung by the duet of Ilona and Bimo. The single is a work by Glenn O Rotty, chosen to be the forefront of the project.
"When arranging a song, I start from the song itself and the character of the singer's voice. Because 'Yang Terakhir' is a duet, harmony alignment must be given more attention. Because the melody of this song is strong and beautiful, my work becomes easier," explained Andi.
"In my opinion, this single has the power of a beautiful melody and lyrics, as well as the strength of the singers in delivering this song," added Andi.
According to Bimmo, a singer from IMB, he expressed that he likes the song "Yang Terakhir" which he sings as a duet with Ilona.
"I love the song, it's very romantic! Singing duet with Ilona, whose voice is melodious, adds to the confidence that this song will be enjoyable to listen to. Especially, I love the ending part," said Bimmo.
Then, Ilona, who was trusted to be the palace singer in 2010 and had won singing competitions in Thailand, admitted that she fell in love with "Yang Terakhir" when she first heard the pop song.
"This song has a beautiful flow, so it is quickly learned and easy to sing," she said.
In addition, Faisal Nurdin as the Director of Support & Business Development of Indonesian Music Legend stated that this collaboration project is not an easy task, involving six singers from different genres and famous composers.
"This time Indonesian Music Legend is looking for singers who already have enough experience, because some of the materials are directly worked on by Andi Rianto, so the adaptation process can be faster," he explained.
"With the encouraging results from the collaboration project, we are targeting other singles to be released in July and August this year. There will be six to seven singles that will be released during that period," added Faisal.
"Yang Terakhir" was released on June 25, 2020, and is available on various digital stores, along with the launch of the lyric video. Meanwhile, the music video, directed by Dede M Nur, was released on June 27, 2020.
