"This single indeed takes a fashion theme, as it embodies Evolette's character who is not just a singer, but also a model. The producer wanted to create a song that represents Evolette's character," said Eddy Mumin, Evolette's father, when met at Senayan City, Central Jakarta, Sunday (22/9/2024).

This song is more than just music as it reflects a spirit of self-confidence and joy. Evolette's strong vocals further emphasize the message about loving oneself, encouraging her listeners to shine and celebrate who they are.

"Pretty Girl Slay is like, it’s okay if there are flaws, insecurities, what matters is just to slay," said Evolette expressing the meaning of her song.

Although not directly involved in writing the lyrics, Evolette is active in determining its musical arrangement. The cheerful and colorful sound she brings is the identity she wants to strengthen in the music world.

"Evolette's songs have always been child-friendly from the start. They are not mainstream children's songs, but EDM with a cheerful beat, the genre is happy pop," said Eddy Mumin explaining his daughter's music character.

With a dynamic and colorful performance, Evolette brings fresh energy to the pop music scene. The unique character and concept of the song Pretty Girl Slay caught the attention of Ayundavira Intan, a designer from Djoe Official, a children's fashion brand that is a graduate of ESMOD Jakarta.

As part of the single's release, Djoe Official also introduces its latest collection. This collaboration will be realized in a fashion show featuring nine child models, accompanied by Evolette's energetic performance while singing the song.

This fashion show will take place at the Esmod: Urban Echo Streetwear Collection event at Fashion Nation Senayan City on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
