Fahem Releases Debut Single that Hypnotizes the Ears, 'Unconditional Love'

Kapanlagi.com - Another soloist from Malang who is ready to make a name in the Indonesian music industry. Mohammad Irfan Fahmi, or familiarly known as Fahem, has released a debut single that hypnotizes the ears titled Unconditional Love on August 21, 2020. Besides being available on various digital platforms, this song is also packaged in a lyric video that can be watched on Fahem Music's Youtube channel.

1. About Love that Should Give and Give

Regarding the song itself, Fahem revealed that the creation of Unconditional Love originated from his belief that love should not be transactional. According to him, love is about giving.

“It's about give and give, not give and take,” explained Fahem.

This explanation certainly did not come from an empty space. Fahem admitted that this perspective is rooted in various life experiences, love's ups and downs, and observations of the surrounding environment. It is these factors that shape his point of view and give birth to Unconditional Love.

2. Music Video Making Process

The music video Unconditional Love was created by YAB Music in collaboration with Dates Production. Reza Triadi was trusted to sit in the director's chair for the MV, which only took one day to complete.

Fahem himself is better known as the frontman of the Malang band, Morisade. With that alternative rock band, he has released a full album titled HETEROCHROMIA at the end of 2019. Right in the midst of his busy schedule as a "band kid," he then decided to pursue a solo career.

"Actually, I could have performed this song with Morisade, but ethically it doesn't seem right. Morisade is more towards alternative pop/rock with various influences, while my solo work is more towards emotional Pop RnB," Fahem concluded.

3. Unconditional Love Production Process

The production process of Unconditional Love was carried out at Up Music Production, Malang starting in February 2020. The lyrics and composition of this song were written by Fahem himself, while the arrangement was assisted by Bambang Setyo Utomo. The audio was then mixed and mastered by Zeruya Anggraita before being released to the public. This single is one of the materials that will be included in Fahem's EP titled In Relationship with Memories. Born in Bogor on July 29, 1994, Fahem himself is currently in the process of completing the EP while preparing materials for his band, Morisade.
