Kapanlagi.com - After the success of her EP Fingers in 2019, the beautiful singer Danilla Riyadi officially releases a new album called Pop Seblay on Tuesday (22/2/2022). This album is Danilla's expression towards people who often refer to her as a sunset musician. Not only that, the singer of the song Ada di Sana is also often mentioned as a jazz singer.
"It is certain that the songs in (the album Pop Seblay) are pop. Because I am a bit fed up with the term Danilla, the sunset genre, that's one thing, because there are no sunset songs," said Danilla firmly in a press conference via Zoom, Monday (21/2/2022).
"Secondly, Danilla is jazz, no I know nothing about jazz. Or Danilla is bossa nova, no, those are just elements that exist in the arrangement of songs in the previous album," added Danilla.

Danilla stated that the Pop Seblay album has actually been worked on since 2020. In general, the songs in the Pop Seblay album discuss her longing with the team. Not only that, in this album she also discusses the stories that exist within her team.
"There are many stories from this album that depict our internal stories. I made this album for me and my friends, as long as I can meet them, make music together, and become something," said Danilla.
The Pop Seblay album is produced by Danilla herself along with Otta Tarrega and Lafa Pratomo as co-producers. In this album, Danilla also presents several special guests. Starting from Teddy Adhitya, Sigit Pramudita, to Bobby Mandela as a radio host.
"When making these songs, I couldn't find analogies or diction like in previous albums," said Danilla.
The Pop Seblay album features a total of 12 songs. Of course, the songs in the Pop Seblay album are very different from the albums that Danilla has released before. Here are Danilla's latest songs in the Pop Seblay album: Pop Seblay, Kudikan, MPV, Bukan Otomata, Berat badan, Senja di Seberang Nusa, KIW, Di Balik Selimut (feat. Lupus Mutiara), Di Mana?, Fel d 1 (feat. Teddy Adhitya), Dungu-Dungu, Dalam Nirvana, and Maka Dari Itu.
