Finally Releasing a Physical Album, Tri Suaka Admits to Overthinking About the Digital Era

After years of releasing single after single on digital platforms, singer Tri Suaka has finally dared to take a step further. The musician, who became popular through his works on YouTube, has officially launched his first physical album titled Tri Suaka - Nabila & Friends. In collaboration with Jagonya Musik & Sport Indonesia, this album is distributed exclusively in CDigital format.

The release of this album marks a new milestone for the man whose real name is Tri Aji Suaka. He admitted that he has actually received many offers to create an album for a long time, but there has always been doubt haunting his mind regarding the relevance of physical media in today's era. Here are the details.

"I really like this CDigital. Because this is the first time I have an album. I have often been offered, but there was something that kept holding me back. All this time I have been making singles continuously. But thank you to KFC for bridging this," said Tri Suaka when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (08/05/2026).

Tri Suaka explained that the reason he hadn't released a physical album before was because of his observation of the trend in the music industry, which has completely shifted towards digital. He was worried whether physical albums still had a place in the hearts of people who are now very practical in accessing songs.

"Why not make an album? Because I see that the era is all digital. I thought that making a physical album was overthinking it. So I am very grateful that this is happening," added the husband of Nabila Maharani as he explained his past anxieties.

Regarding the choice of genre in this compilation album, Tri Suaka emphasizes that he does not want to be confined to just one musical style. Although he is strongly associated with the Malay pop vibe, he still allows other artists in this album to showcase their unique vocal characters.

"We can't really guess, right? Personally, I have my own style. When I write songs for my wife, she has her own style. So it's not always Malay pop," he added regarding the musical variations in the album.

The background for choosing the concept of Nabila & Friends compilation was selected to maintain a strong sense of friendship among musicians. Tri Suaka wants this album to be a platform for his fellow fighters like Saleh Curik and Hanif Hokiboyz to continue growing together in the entertainment industry.

He feels that presenting many vocal characters in one album will provide a fresher listening experience for the audience. This project is not just about personal ambition, but about how to celebrate togetherness in creating a beautiful melody.

"Choosing this title because we are together. So it's not just me and Nabila," concluded the 31-year-old man as he ended the conversation.
