First Day of WE The Fest 2024, Pee Wee Gaskins Successfully Enlivens the Atmosphere

Kapanlagi.com - Pee Wee Gaskins is one of the performers who performed at We The Fest (WTF) on the first day on Friday (19/7). The band, consisting of Dochi Sadega (Bass/Vocal), Sansan (Guitar/Vocal), Omo (Synth/Vocal), Aldy (Drum), and Ayi (Guitar), delivered a great performance at the WTF 2024 Stage.

When the personnel took the stage, it was clear that there were many spectators gathered around the stage area. Without further ado, the song Tatiana became the opening act performed by Pee Wee Gaskins.

After that, Salah and Welcoming The Sophomore were also performed. As if to soothe the longing, the audience was captivated by the captivating stage performance of Pee Wee Gaskins.

"Today we are performing again at WTF, we want to bring a new song, which has never been released before, titled Libra," said Dochi from the stage.

1. Just Yesterday

What's unique is that, even though it seems that some of the audience is not familiar with them, Pee Wee Gaskins' performance can still be enjoyed.

Then at one point, Sansan mentioned that they had only practiced to perform the song yesterday. And their performance continued with songs that truly made the audience nostalgic.

"The next song is a mixtape that I gave to someone back in junior high," said Sansan.

"Yesterday during practice, it turns out we covered this song 11 years ago," he added.

2. Doesn't Fade the Romantic Side

The pop punk arrangement by Pee Wee Gaskins makes the sweet song sound more powerful. However, the arrangement doesn't fade the romantic side of the song.

"Do you know whose song this is? Yes (The Beatles), in my opinion, it's the sweetest song I've ever heard hahaha," said Sansan.

At the end of the performance, Pee Wee Gaskins performed their songs titled Vaya Con Dios and Fluktuasi Glukosa and Kangen by Dewa 19.

"Thank you We The Fest," concluded Dochi.

In We The Fest 2024, apart from Pee Wee Gaskins, there are also XG, Nadin Amizah, Sal Priadi, and The Sigit who will enliven the first day of We The Fest.
