First Held, Here's the Complete List of Nominations for the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards

Kapanlagi.com - For the first time, a world-class music award event will be held, namely the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards. This award event and appreciation to the music industry in Indonesia is a collaboration between RCTI and Billboard Indonesia.

"This event has good credibility by bringing an international name and it presents something different from similar awards," said Dini Putri, Programming & Acquisition Director of RCTI in Jakarta, Monday (20/1).

1. Reference Point

Meanwhile, Editor in Chief of Billboard Indonesia, Adib Hidayat, said that the existence of the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards originated from the Billboard Indonesia Top 100 chart program, which can serve as a reference for popular songs and a meeting point for music industry players in Indonesia, as well as motivating musicians to continue creating.

"Billboard Indonesia and RCTI hope that the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards will further promote the health of Indonesian music and showcase its diverse colors, while providing good welfare through transparent and responsible music management in Indonesia," said Adib Hidayat.

2. Will Air on RCTI

In this premiere event, there are 13 categories contested in the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards, including lifetime achievement. The winners will be selected through voting on social media platforms conducted by an independent institution, which has been open since January 20 and will be closed on February 20.

The grand finale of the 2020 Billboard Indonesia Music Awards will be held on February 26 and broadcast live on RCTI.
