Having Her Own Way, Amanda Fedora Expresses Herself Through Music

Kapanlagi.com - Jakarta-born woman, Amanda Fedora has her own way of expressing and actualizing herself through music.

Amanda Fedora, who is still young at 18, has managed to attract the attention of several big musicians in the country. Yes, Amanda successfully collaborated with Andi Rianto on her third song titled 'Pursuit' which is packaged with orchestration supported by the Budapest Orchestra.

"Music is my blood. Through music, I can express all my feelings of confusion, boredom, and desires," said Amanda to journalists in Jakarta, Saturday (29/5).

1. Tell the Debut Single

Amanda tells about her previous debut single, the arrangement was entrusted to Yudhisarianto and received support from Tompi. Tompi was present to direct her debut single titled 'Strombreaker'.

As for her second single titled 'Wanderer', the music arrangement was done by Chikita Amanda and the video was directed by Dio Setiawan along with the Jendela team. Amanda dedicated the second work to support Alzheimer's patients and caregivers through Alzi Indonesia.

“Sharing through music is truly enjoyable,” said the woman who studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

“Besides being able to entertain, music is also able to foster motivation for everyone,” she continued.

2. Inspired by Phenomena

The song 'Pursuit' itself, Amanda was inspired by the phenomenon and reality of many cases of depression and despair.

"The feeling can arise due to various things caused by social pressure, rejection, bullying, disharmony in relationships, loss or failure to achieve achievements in school, work or business that can make people lose hope to live," she said.

3. Everyone Can Face It

From cases and phenomena that are reality, Amanda revealed that various problems that surround everyone can face it.

"We must have the courage to accept reality and rise to free ourselves from the shackles of the past or trauma," she said.

"Every person has problems in life, but hope is what keeps us going. This song is a self-determination about the hope of achieving happiness," said Amanda.

4. Hope in the Song 'Pursuit'

In the song 'Pursuit', Amanda hopes to be able to inspire everyone to stay strong and not easily give up in facing difficulties.

"As I wrote through the song, we just need to persevere in order to chase hope for our own happiness and the people we love," she said.

Amanda herself received vocal direction from Barsena Bestandhi and Andi Rianto for the music arrangement. As for the music video, it will be directed by Prialangga.
