On Saturday night, November 16, 2024, Isyana Sarasvati gave an extraordinary surprise to her fans at Istora Senayan. In the concert titled Lost in Harmony: A Decade Live Concert, Isyana presented an incredible collaboration with Marty Friedman, the legendary former guitarist of the metal band Megadeth, who successfully captivated the audience with their energetic performance.

In the celebration of Isyana's decade-long music career, they presented a fresh version of the song My Mystery, which was first released in 2022. This song has been rearranged with a distinctive guitar solo touch from Marty Friedman, providing a stunning new vibe in its performance.

"Please welcome, Marty Friedman," said Isyana. Marty Friedman brings a different feel to this song with a combination of electric guitar distortion and his iconic riffs, perfectly blending with the synthesizer touch played by Isyana.

Their performance on stage was mesmerizing with bold musical experiments, combining elements of metal, classical, and modern pop in perfect harmony. 

The cheers of the audience echoed as the atmosphere on stage became more intense, especially when Marty stepped to the center of the stage to join Isyana and showcase his guitar skills that are known worldwide.

The collaboration between Isyana and Marty began during Isyana's concert tour in Japan in October 2023. In Yokohama, the promoter proposed the opportunity to collaborate with Marty Friedman, which was immediately welcomed with enthusiasm by both.

Marty Friedman himself is known for his brilliant career with Megadeth in the 1990s and is characterized by his guitar playing with fast shredding technique and very distinctive melodies.

Their duet performance at the Lost In Harmony concert was the first time Isyana performed the song live on stage with Marty.
