Involve Hundreds of Talented Children, Erwin and Gita Gutawa Ready to Hold a Virtual Concert

Kapanlagi.com - In recent years, Erwin and Gita Gutawa have been focusing on developing a project called 'Di Atas Rata-Rata' (Above Average), which aims to find talented children in the field of music. This time, they will hold a virtual concert titled 'Di Atas Rata-Rata: KAMI ANAK INDONESIA' (Above Average: We Are Indonesian Children).

In 2020, Erwin and Gita proudly introduce a new format for the 'Di Atas Rata-Rata' project in the form of a digital platform. This way, they can monitor and discover talents from all over Indonesia.

The 'Virtual Concert Di Atas Rata-Rata: Kami Anak Indonesia' (Above Average Virtual Concert: We Are Indonesian Children) will feature talented children who have showcased their respective talents on the platform.

1. Held in Celebration of National Children's Day

The current pandemic does not diminish the creativity and enthusiasm of children to hold virtual concerts from their respective homes. In fact, they will use whatever equipment they have at home.

This virtual concert is held in celebration of National Children's Day. More than 150 talented children from all over Indonesia will sing and play music together.

Erwin and Gita will arrange the music for this virtual concert. Nine songs from various genres, including Pop, Classical, R&B, Jazz, and Traditional music, will be performed.

Meanwhile, five children with the best talents will be entrusted to perform the song Janji Untuk Mimpi, which was composed by Erwin and Gita Gutawa. Previously, this song was performed by Lyodra, who recently became the champion of Indonesian Idol.

The five children are Loisa (7) from Semarang, Sheera (10) from Depok, Nadinda (12) from Magelang, Chelsea (13) from Batam, and Morietnez (15) from Bekasi. They were selected through social media with the hashtag #JanjiUntukMimpiChallenge, which has been followed by more than 1000 Indonesian children.

2. Not Just a Show

Meanwhile, there will also be a special performance from the Above Average Virtual Choir, where 100 children will sing together virtually, performing the song Aku Anak Indonesia composed by AT Mahmud.

This virtual concert is not just an ordinary performance, it also carries the mission 'From Children to Children of Indonesia'. Above Average, together with UNICEF INDONESIA, is raising funds for Indonesian children, with a focus on providing educational facilities, especially for children in remote areas affected by the pandemic.
