Kapanlagi.com - After being postponed due to the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), the Smartfren Wow Virtual Concert is ready to be held on August 8th. This virtual concert is said to offer a different experience because the technology used has never been done before in Indonesia.

One of them is xR or extended reality. Where the audience will not only see and hear the participating musicians, but also physically feel it.

"We will use extended reality technology that displays visuals that can be felt. And there is a hologram concept and interaction with the audience at home. I don't want to reveal it yet, but there are several concert concepts that have never been done before in terms of technology," said Indra Yudhistira, the director of Indonesia Entertainment Production who will lead the event, during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (15/7/2020).

1. Raisa Creates Song for Doctors

The lineup of performers involved in the Smartfren Wow Virtual Concert will provide a special surprise for the audience. For example, Raisa has created a special song for medical workers who have been fighting to help others from the coronavirus attack.

"Raisa will create a special song for doctors in this event. This song is a form of appreciation because we need to appreciate what they have done," continued Indra.

2. Agnez Mo Performs New Single

Not only Raisa, Agnez Mo will also surprise by performing a new single on stage. It is revealed that this song has never been performed by Agnez before.

"Agnez Mo will perform her new song for the first time in this event specifically," said Indra.

Not to be missed, Tiara Andini will duet with a musician whose name is still kept secret. "Then there is a surprise where Tiara will collaborate with a guest star. It will definitely surprise you. This cannot be revealed first," he concluded.

In addition to musicians from Indonesia, foreign musicians will also perform, namely the electronic duo from England called Honne, and the girl band from South Korea named Everglow.
