Jaz Releases New Single 'Boleh Merindu', Presenting a More Mature Acoustic Vibe

This song, set to be released on September 6, 2024, was created by Aldi Nada Permana, a musician from Sukabumi who has previously collaborated with Jaz on several songs in the albums *Sinergi* (2021) and *Transisi* (2022).

Jaz expressed that due to their frequent collaborations, Aldi understands his musical style very well, which is why the song Boleh Merindu was born with the right touch.

“This song actually has a vibe similar to my previous songs, but in terms of genre, it feels new because there are acoustic elements and mid-tempo music,” Jaz explained.

"I always choose songs that match my taste, and when I heard the demo, I instantly liked the melody and lyrics. The lyrics written by Aldi are not too poetic, but more like everyday language, and that’s what makes this song unique and feel close," he revealed.

The process of creating this song was done efficiently, both directly and online, so it didn't take long. Jaz stated that the recording process only took one day. One reason for the quick process is that Jaz was already familiar with Aldi's work and received assistance from Bowo Soulmate as the vocal director.

"Working with Bowo is always enjoyable. He is also a songwriter, so he understands how to direct the vocals to fit the vibe of this song," Jaz said.

With a simple lyrical style and using everyday language, Jaz hopes that Boleh Merindu can be well received by his listeners. “I hope this song can represent the feelings of many people out there who are missing someone, whether it's a partner or family. “This album will contain a lot of musical exploration, including ballads and collaborations. Usually, I sing in the pop genre, but this time I want to try something different,” said Jaz.
