Joining a Major Label and Releasing a Single, Rakhano Makes Childhood Dreams Come True

Rakha's love for the world of music has been evident since childhood. Fortunately, he always receives support from his family who also loves music. Now, Rakha is starting his career under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI), which he never imagined before.

"I'm happy because since I was a child, I come from a musical family. I never expected that my musical journey would go through a music label and release," said Rakhano at the Office of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, Cilandak Area, South Jakarta, recently.

The presence of Rakha in SMEI is also inseparable from the role of Angie Zelena, a singer who is also under the same label. Angie had joined SMEI earlier and released several singles.

"Sony got information about me from Angie. We are both from Bandung," he said.

Rakha has released his debut single titled 'Ajarkanku Melepasnya' (Teach Me How to Let Go), which was created by Desmon Latif and Stefanus L J. When he heard the demo of the song 'Ajarkanku Melepasnya', Rakha immediately fell in love.

"There were 3 demos given previously. When I heard 'Ajarkanku Melepasnya', I liked it immediately and that's what I chose as my first single," he said.

2. Admitting the Burden

Going through the recording process is also something new for Rakha. "There's a lot of pressure. This is my first time recording a single. I was very nervous and under pressure. The vocal director was a bit strict, but it's okay, I just went with it," he said.

Although his dream of becoming a singer has come true, Rakha never wants to stop dreaming. He hopes that someday his name will become bigger and his work will be heard by more people.

"My dream is to become a big musician in Indonesia. To tour around Indonesia and be noticed more than this. Since I was a child, being a musician has always been my dream," concluded Rakhano.
