Lana Del Rey Surprises Fans with a More Personal New Album

Kapanlagi.com - Lana Del Rey has once again piqued her fans' curiosity with her latest music project. The singer known for her melancholic songs revealed that the album STOVE is not the only release she is preparing.

Through a post on social media, Lana confirmed that she has also completed a companion album with a different vibe. While STOVE is designed as a complete and classic album, this second project contains personal reflections on various changes she has experienced in recent years.

This announcement is also exciting news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for Lana's latest work after the album Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd released in 2023.

In her post, Lana recounts that the creative process of both albums took a very long time. She admits to having gone through a period full of uncertainty before finally finding a new direction in her music.

"Over the past few years, I spent so much time waiting for everything to go as hoped, while also wondering if it was okay for many things to fall apart. In between those songs, new thoughts emerged about old friends, new dreams, and from the doubt of whether the tree I planted would grow, new shoots emerged until finally, a new rose bush grew under the willow tree."

According to Lana, these various experiences then developed into a companion album that contains new thoughts about life, change, and the process of accepting circumstances.

She also involved many people in the process of its creation so that all her ideas and emotions could be conveyed more fully.

2. STOVE Remains the Main Album

Although announcing additional projects, Lana emphasizes that STOVE remains the main release that she designed from the beginning.

Meanwhile, the companion album comes as a complement that explains another side of the journey behind the creation process of the album.

"STOVE is such a beautiful and complete album as I envisioned, a classic album. However, over time, this second project gradually reveals itself. This album serves as a kind of commentary on everything that has happened, about the patience required, and the trust I must have that not everything that goes wrong is due to my mistakes."

Lana said she still needs about another month to complete the final process before both albums are produced in vinyl format.

3. The New Album Signal is Still Shrouded in Mystery

Along with the announcement, Lana also uploaded several photos that sparked a lot of speculation from fans. One of them shows a vinyl cover with the word STOVE, while another image features a boat named "Spyda" which is suspected to be the title of the companion album.

In addition, the post is filled with various nostalgic portraits, ranging from fireworks parties, her favorite shoe collection, to a video of her dancing with her pet cat.

At the end of her message, Lana thanked the fans who have remained loyal in following her career journey.

"I am very grateful to everyone who is still with me. And of course, I also wish the best for everyone who chooses to stay on land. Of course, I understand. Just kidding. I think we are all in the same boat."

She also referred to both projects as the works she is most proud of throughout her career.

"These are the two most beautiful works I have ever created."

Until now, Lana Del Rey has not revealed the official release date of the companion album. However, this announcement has further increased the enthusiasm of fans who have followed the journey of this album since it was still titled Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay, before it was finally confirmed to be STOVE.
