The Mall Director of Lippo Icon Gajah Mada, Pahala Situmeang, stated that Mahalini was chosen due to her wide fan reach. He hopes the singer's presence will attract more people to come and see the new face of the shopping center.

"We chose Mahalini because she has fans from various segments. We want to invite the general public, including those living outside Jakarta such as Bogor, Depok, and Tangerang, to enjoy the concert while also seeing the new face of the mall," said Pahala to reporters in Central Jakarta, Thursday (20/8/2026).

The Mahalini concert is open to the public and free of charge. With a free format, the organizers anticipate a significant surge in visitors. Although there is no set capacity limit for the audience, aspects of safety and comfort are prioritized during the event until the audience disperses.

The organizers have prepared for the anticipated density of vehicles, especially after the concert when the audience will exit simultaneously. One of the main appeals is to use public transportation to ensure smoother mobility to and from the venue.

"We urge the public, if possible, to come using public transportation to avoid traffic congestion during the audience's dispersal," explained Pahala.

On the other hand, coordination has also been carried out with neighborhood leaders (RT and RW), as well as shop owners in the surrounding area to increase parking capacity. This option is prepared to accommodate the vehicles of visitors using private cars.

If the number of private vehicles exceeds capacity, access to the mall area will be restricted situationally during certain hours. This arrangement is prepared to maintain smooth traffic around Lippo Icon Gajah Mada throughout the event series.
