Maliq & D'Essentials and Salma Salsabil Enliven 'Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2024'

Kapanlagi.com - The 13th edition of the Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2024 was held lively last night. The event, which took place for two consecutive nights: March 29-30, 2024, was located at Plataran Masjid Cut Meutia, Menteng, Central Jakarta, with a donation ticket concept that was allocated this year for our brothers and sisters in need in Palestine.

Muhammad Ridho Dafiutomo, as the Chairman of the Islamic Youth of Masjid Cut Meutia (RICMA), in his speech said, "In Indonesia, Harmony comes from Unity, and Unity also comes from Harmony. This is the theme of this year's Ramadhan Jazz Festival. And we collaborated with the Palestinian Embassy in Jakarta for this year's donation distribution."

Agus Setiawan Basuni from WartaJazz said, "Alhamdulillah, ALLAH SWT still grants us the age to be able to meet again with the month full of wisdom and present the Ramadhan Jazz Festival. This is the only Jazz Festival held in the month of Ramadhan, in the courtyard of the mosque and organized by young people."

Muhammad Pradana Indraputra, representing the Board of Trustees of Masjid Cut Meutia, said in his speech, "RJF is not only an innovative form of da'wah but also reflects the harmony and new face of Indonesia in the future and helps our brothers and sisters in Palestine."

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Uno, appreciates the organization of Ramadhan Jazz Festival, "This deserves to be a National Event." He then invited the entire audience to recite blessings together and closed it with a rhyme, "The fragrance of blooming roses, the sound of drums like a carnival. May your Ramadhan be more blessed, let's donate at Ramadhan Jazz Festival."

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, who was also present, gave a speech, "RJF has become part of the lives of the younger generation during the month of Ramadhan. This is a good and positive event. The Ministry of Youth and Sports is ready to support it in the coming years."

2. Presenting Maliq & D'Essentials

The Ramadhan Jazz Festival entered its 13th year on the first day featuring Maliq & D'Essentials, Salma Salsabil, Ecoutez, Alfie Alfandy, and Bilal Indrajaya. Their performances received tremendous enthusiasm from the predominantly young audience.

After the opening, Alfie Alfandy performed several songs such as "Halusinasi", "Deras", and "Pintu Rumah". Meanwhile, Maliq & D'Essentials mesmerized the audience with viral songs like "Kita Bikin Romantis" and "Aduh". Other popular songs from them included "Dia", "Setapak Sriwedari", "Senja teduh pelita", "Menari", "Himalaya", "Untitled", and "Pilihanku".

3. Bilal Indrajaya is Also Present

Salma Salsabil, who performed afterwards, sang her two hits, "Rumah" and "Bunga Cintaku", as well as the song "Teman Tapi Mesra" popularized by Ratu, followed by Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", Ruth Sahanaya's "Menghargai Kata Rindu", and "Keliru".

After Salma, it was Bilal Indrajaya's turn to perform "Gulana", "Ruang Kecil", "Nelangsa Pasar Turi", "Saujana", and "Biar". A song titled "Mata berdebu" by Sore was also presented. Ecoutez concluded the first night of RJF with 5 songs: "Simpan saja", "maafkanlah (tak sempurna)", "Kembali", "Percayalah", and a religious song called "Dengan menyebut nama Allah".

The 13th Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2024 is fully supported by the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy, AQUA, and Masjid Cut Meutia Foundation.
