New Album Release During the Pandemic, Death Vomit Presents New Colors in Sound Production & Lyrics

Kapanlagi.com - In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the metal band from Yogyakarta continues to create. Yes, Death Vomit has released their 4th new album titled "Dominion Over Creation" containing 9 songs on July 29, 2020 at Balakosa Coffee Yogyakarta.

The new album release, led by 3 personnel namely Sofyan Hadi (guitar/vocals), Oki Haribowo (bass), and Roy Agus (drums), presents a new color in sound production and lyrics. This has been revealed by the vocalist on their new album.

"We try to focus more on sound production and pronunciation of lyrics" said Sofyan Hadi, vocalist of Death Vomit.

1. Pengerjaan Lama

Continuing, as a drummer, Roy Agus revealed that the production of the new album "Dominion Over Creation" was done from July 2019 to December 2019 and released by the label Demented Mind Record.

"It took quite a long time to record this studio album, it was done solely because we wanted to give the best for Death Vomit fans, especially in Indonesia, and music lovers in general", said Roy Agus.

"This 4th studio album is released by Demented Mind Record, which is the label of Death Vomit itself, and in this album we are also fully supported by Sinergi Live from Yogyakarta", added Oki the bassist.

2. Full Support from Sinergi Live

As a producer in Death Vomit's 4th album and also a member of Sinergi Live, Bakkar Wibowo confirmed that local bands, especially from Yogyakarta like Death Vomit, are given full support by Sinergi Live.

"Yes, this is our way of supporting local bands, especially from Yogyakarta, with the hope that more new talents will emerge in the Indonesian music scene, especially in Yogyakarta, and maybe other regions can also follow suit in always supporting their local bands", explained Bakkar Wibowo.

3. Give Gifts to Fans

Being a band that has been around for a long time and now entering the age of 25, Death Vomit wants to give the best gift to their fans in the form of their new album.

"We want to give the best gift to Death Vomit fans on our 25th anniversary, which is a new album from us," said Roy Agus.

"Actually, on our 25th anniversary, we were going to have a solo concert and release our latest album, but because of the ongoing pandemic, it had to be canceled," added Sofyan Hadi.

"Yes, this time we will only release and sell the new album," continued Oki Haribowo.
