However, Maudy feels that the message in her song needs a stronger delivery to be properly received by the listeners. “I am afraid the message of the song won't come across if I am the only one performing it. I feel that my young age might lead people to miss the essence of this song,” said Maudy. 

Therefore, she decided to invite Iwan Fals, a senior musician whom she considers the right person to emphasize the message of the song. For Maudy, collaborating with Iwan Fals is a dream come true. "Om Iwan is a dream collaborator for me. He is very inspiring, not just as a singer but also as a songwriter. His courage and honesty in creating art are things I deeply appreciate," she said.  

Maudy's experience with Iwan Fals was full of surprises. She admitted that she initially offered Iwan Fals the freedom to change the song as he wished. 

However, the response she received was beyond expectation. “The first time I told Uncle Iwan, 'You can change it if you want.' But Uncle Iwan said, 'No, I already like it.' I was really surprised. That shows how open he is and how he supports junior musicians like me,” she recalled.  

Iwan Fals also expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration. According to him, Maudy is a young figure with a strong vision in music. “This song is simple but has a deep message. I like the way Maudy conveys emotions in this song,” said Iwan Fals through a video message played at the event.  

For Maudy, this collaboration is not just a musical experience, but also a valuable lesson. She feels inspired by how Iwan Fals respects the work and his dedication to music. “Om Iwan taught me that music is about honesty. That’s a big lesson for me,” said Maudy.
