New Experience for Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and Nadin Amizah in the Movie 'Limina | Limen'

Kapanlagi.com - Collabonation presents a new work by collaborating cross-disciplinary arts between film, music, dance, and visual arts by contemporary theater director Yudi Ahmad Tajudin titled Limina | Limen. Several musicians are involved in the event. They are Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and Nadin Amizah.

The film Limina | Limen was released on the IM3 Ooredoo YouTube channel on June 25, 2021, addressing the theme of the current world situation, when the pandemic forces us to stop and reexamine many things in life.

"A High Art project that I rarely find, and in this project we can create something very different," said Kunto Aji.

1. Divided into 3 Acts

Limina theater-musical film | Limen is divided into 3 acts, namely Reflection, Purification, and Transformation, which tells a story of loss, helplessness, and efforts to survive. Three young Indonesian musicians, Sal Priadi, Nadin Amizah, and Kunto Aji, are the main actors in this film and also convey the message through their characters, scenes, and songs.

"From the beginning, we were all very interested in this collaboration idea, and also curious about how Mas Yudi Ahta would respond to our songs and turn them into a story in a theater-musical film. In Collabonation, I feel that ideas like this can come true and now we are doing something different," said Sal Priadi.

2. Based on 5 Songs

Limina theater-musical film | Limen is structured and developed based on the characters, imagery, and atmosphere of 5 songs created and performed directly by the three musicians, such as "Di Timur" - Sal Priadi, "Kereta Ini Melaju Dengan Cepat" - Nadin Amizah, "Rehat" - Kunto Aji, "Amin Paling Serius" - Sal Priadi & Nadin Amizah, and "Selaras" - Kunto Aji & Nadin Amizah.

"From the beginning, I had a feeling that 'this is going to be something good' because I knew that if something we created from the beginning already had a lot of creative input, we would definitely work on it with enthusiasm," concluded Nadin Amizah.
