Kapanlagi.com - Recently, Dangdut Hip Hop music group, NDX AKA, has released a new single titled 'Goblok'. The song was inspired by an incident experienced by Yonanda Frisna Damara, one of the members of NDX AKA.
During a live interview with Kapanlagi Jaga Jarak, (12/11) Nanda shared the story. It all started when he met a woman after a performance in Surabaya in 2018.
"The song has a real story behind it, the concept was already there but the story for the song is real," said Nanda NDX AKA.
"At that time, NDX had just finished performing in Surabaya, and on the plane ride back, there was a girl sitting next to me. She was sad, turns out she was sad because of a toothache, I couldn't bear to see her like that so I lent her my neck pillow. I asked her why she was going to Yogyakarta, and she said she was going on vacation, so when we arrived, I invited her to go sightseeing," he continued.
Initially, Nanda admitted that she did not know that the woman she accidentally met already had a boyfriend. According to Nanda, as time went by, they started to like each other.
"Turns out she has a boyfriend in Jogja. But as time went by, we often met and had video calls, we started to like each other, every night we had video calls until we fell asleep," she said.
Until finally, on the woman's birthday, Nanda mentioned that they planned to meet. However, the plan did not go as expected because the woman came with her boyfriend and at that time, her boyfriend asked Nanda to stay away from the woman.
"Then she went to Jogja again on her birthday, we planned to meet in Wonosari, and I had already sent her a birthday gift, I told her to use it when she arrived in Jogja. But when we met, I called her because I couldn't find her, turns out her car was parked in front of mine, with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend called me and said, 'don't disturb her, she's my girlfriend'," Nanda explained.
Feeling deceived even though I have put my heart into it, finally Nanda poured out her heart through a song titled 'Goblok'.
"So it turns out I was deceived, so when he was arguing with his girlfriend he complained to me, all I could do was console him. But when they make up, he forgets about me, so I wonder why I'm so stupid, that's why this 'Goblok' song lyrics were created," she said.
