It's Okay This 2020 Concert: Atlesta Successfully Holds a Concert in the Open Air During the Pandemic

Kapanlagi.com - Seemingly unwilling to remain silent during the pandemic, Atlesta has just held an intimate concert entitled "It's Okay This 2020 Concert". The first offline performance of this electro-pop soloist from Malang was held at Romantic Camp, Gunung Banyak, Batu on October 3, 2020.

In the midst of today's conditions, of course, this concert was held with a high level of caution. The audience was limited to only 50 people. Everyone, including artists and crew, also followed health protocols starting from body temperature checks, health checks, to physical distancing.

Regarding the D-day, the concert started exactly at 15:30 WIB. Atlesta presented a complete white stage set with excellent sound & lighting that blended well with the surroundings. Fifan Christa, the person behind the name Atlesta, stated that he still wanted to present the elegant impression of Atlesta even though the location was in the open air.

As previously mentioned, It's Okay This 2020 Concert is Atlesta's first live show in 2020. He did not waste this moment to perform songs that have never been performed before. For example, all the tracks from the spin-off album Inner Feelings Pt. 1 and its latest single, Essential Love. Not satisfied, she also performed a song titled Something You Still, a track that has never been released before, at this concert.

Several emotional moments were present in the concert. Like when Fifan cried while singing the song Shovia (from her third album, GESTURES). She was so touched to see this successful performance. "I can't believe it. All the preparations and struggles paid off and even exceeded expectations. Magical!" she said.

Fifan admitted that yesterday's concert also summarized everything that happened in 2020, especially what happened to her. From losing jobs, hindered concerts, to personal relationships. 'Losing' indeed seemed to be a major theme for Atlesta in 2020, especially conveyed in the MV single Essential Love yesterday.

"And this is the conclusion. The problems that occurred at the beginning of the pandemic seemed to disappear along with the beautiful view of Romantic Camp, the sunset, and the cool air that accompanied this concert. Like saying, Look at me!" I do survive!" Fifan said about this.

Turning to behind the scenes, the preparation for this concert took about three months.Holding a concert in the midst of a pandemic is indeed a challenge for Atlesta and it is just one of several tests that he has to pass before finally succeeding on the D-day.Details about the behind the scenes process are clearly displayed on Atlesta's social networks on Twitter & Instagram.

"What is clear is that I am very grateful to be able to hold this concert. And this proves, at least to myself, that 2020 is not that bad.The ups and downs that we have gone through ultimately yield something good. Like being able to meet new people, perform with new players, learn from them, and ultimately make me able to say, 'It's (gonna be) okay.This 2020,'" said the young man who just celebrated his 30th birthday.

In the future, Atlesta will turn the documentation of this concert into a full documentary. This is similar to what he did in Lost After Lovv—his second live session album and short film in 2014. The final result will be turned into a virtual concert that will be held soon. We'll wait, KLovers!
