Purple has released a new single titled North-South under the banner of Trinity Optima Production. This song also features something different by involving the children of the band members as models in the music video.

The song North-South was written by Enda and tells a story about a separation that still leaves feelings between two people. According to him, themes like this resonate closely with many listeners.

"Even though we can't be together, we have to part ways. Maybe that's what the song is about," said Enda when met in the Senayan area recently.

In the production process, Purple changed the arrangement of the song several times until they found a version that was truly agreed upon by all members. Pasha was also actively involved in that creative process."We recorded it fully, changed it again, changed it again, until we finally found a version that really had no objections from the five of us," said Enda.

Not only from the music side, the process of making the music video was also done with more thorough preparation compared to previous projects. Onci mentioned that communication among personnel and the production team was very intense during the working process.

"This is the first time we are this serious about making a music video because the director is always active in the WhatsApp group. So, okay, this is a seriousness that has never happened in Ungu," said Onci.

In this project, Pasha also took on the role of music video director. He hopes that the result can be something that aligns with Ungu's journey, which has now entered its 30th year."Hopefully, later the assessment from friends will be like what. In our opinion, this fits with Ungu's 30-year age, with us being these older guys," Pasha expressed.

The music video for Utara-Selatan stars Kiesha Alvaro and Zara Leola. According to Pasha, they were chosen because they fit the concept he wanted to present in the song."Why three times? I need to make sure my friends agree with the idea. Because in this song, the age is quite efficient and healthy to be the model for the music video," Pasha concluded.
