Maliq & D'Essentials performed their latest single titled Dekat at the Java Jazz Festival. The audience at Java Jazz were the first to hear the song that was just released on May 30, 2025.
"In 2005 we had our first single Terdiam, in 2025 we have a new single as well, which once again we are repeating to sing for the first time at the Java Jazz Festival," said Angga Puradiredja.

Not only introducing their new song, Maliq & D'Essentials also performed the song Kumpul Bocah at the Java Jazz Festival. This original soundtrack of the animated film JUMBO was also brought to the stage.
"This is from the Jumbo soundtrack", said Angga Puradiredja.
The audience was equally enthusiastic upon hearing Angga's words. They greatly enjoyed the performance of Kumpul Bocah by singing along.
