Java Jazz Festival 2023 Successfully Held, MLD Stage Bus Showcasing Popular Musicians

Kapanlagi.com - Java Jazz Festival 2023 was successfully held for three days (2-4 June 2023) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The biggest Jazz event successfully attracted thousands of music enthusiasts from Indonesia and abroad.

Hundreds of international and local musicians took turns entertaining the crowd. MLDSport Hall and MLD Stage Bus became two stages that were able to attract audiences with the presence of great musicians.

“The Stage Bus Jazz Tour is a program from MLDSPOT that is always present every year, including at Java Jazz Festival. According to the concept, what we provide is an experience for visitors. In addition to the outdoor area, we also curate the musicians who will perform, namely artists who are currently happening,” said Andrianto Wibowo Nuswanto as a representative of MLDSPOT.

1. Top Indonesian Musicians' Performances are a Magnet

Strengthening the uniqueness of the stage, the line-up of musicians who performed also became one of the reasons for the crowded audience at the MLDSPOT stage. Famous names such as Kaleb J, Rinni Wulandari, Dere, Fabio Asher, Dreikids, Gangga, Kenny Gabriel, Juicy Luicy, Fiersa Besari, Sisitipsi, Andien, Trisum, and of course MLDJAZZPROJECT who collaborated with other top musicians.

“We also presented MLDJAZZPROJECT which combines talented musicians with other artists who have quality. We want to show that jazz is not only for the elderly, but also for younger people. One of the most interesting MLDJAZZPROJECT collaborations was with Yovie Widianto, Mario Ginanjar, and Teddy Adhitya,” explained Andrianto.

2. Hype Increases

Windy, the vocalist of MLD Jazz Project Season 3, expressed her happiness and excitement to perform at Java Jazz Festival 2023. Especially since she can collaborate and share the stage with great musicians from the homeland.

"The hype at Java Jazz this year has increased a lot. People are more excited to watch, so we are also more enthusiastic to perform. Before the performance, we even prepared thoroughly and everything went smoothly, especially the special collaboration with Mas Yovie, Mas Mario, and Teddy Adhitya," said Windy when met.

3. Never Empty Visitors

MLDSPOT also presented the excitement of on-ground activity through a booth called Art & Sound Experience. Until the last day, this booth never had empty visitors. In addition to unique decorations, various facilities are available here starting from refreshing beverages, posing in front of Smooth Slow Cam, to experiencing the uniqueness of the Infinity Room.

"At the Art & Sound Booth, we provide many activities for visitors to enjoy. So they don't just come, but they leave with a fun experience. Starting from a bar with unique beverages, there is a smooth slow cam for cool poses like Oscar or Met-Gala, there is a chill rooftop for watching from above, and approaching night there is a DJ Karaokey ala MLDSPOT with a performance that is definitely exciting," said Andrianto.
