Premiere as MC at Music Festival, Marshel Widianto Must Maintain his Voice Quality

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian and presenter Marshel Widianto will be the MC for the first time at the MyFest.ID music festival held at Brigif Field, Cimahi on July 1, 2023. This will certainly be a first experience for Marshel Widianto.

"I will start MCing from 1 pm until 12 am. This is my first experience as an MC at a festival where reportedly everyone will have a day off on July 2," said Marshel Widianto while laughing during a press conference at CGV FX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/6).

1. Preparing to Maintain Voice Quality

Marshel Widianto had to make various preparations to perform optimally at MyFest.ID. One of them is to maintain his voice quality because he will be hosting the event for more than 10 hours.

"Of course, I will maintain my voice quality to be better, because I will MC from 1 pm until 12 am. If my voice runs out, I will switch to gift tape," he joked.

2. Agreed Due to Economic Reasons

When offered the job, Marshel Widianto admitted that he didn't have to think long and agreed immediately due to economic reasons.

"I did consider it because I saw that my schedule was also quite empty. If I didn't take it, I would be poor again. Besides, the support from my wife and children, I am already married, the support from my children as well, what I see is actually the economy. That's what makes my voice will always be present at this event," said Marshel Widianto.

3. Cool Musician Performances

In addition to Marshel Widianto, the MyFest.ID music festival will also feature performances by cool musicians including Maliq and D Essentials, The Changcuters, Fourtwnty, Iwa K, Kangen Band, Wika Salim, Diskopantera, Yura Yunita, Lowdick, NSB, and Rampak Gendang Dance from Sanggar Seni Kidang Kancana.
