Kapanlagi.com - Young composer and emerging orchestrator, Noni Dju, has released a music video for her contemporary orchestral work titled "Ingar Bingar." This music video was officially released on July 7, 2024, on Noni Dju's YouTube channel, providing a dynamic visual depiction of life in Jakarta.
This work reflects the emotions of everyday life for dream fighters in the capital city, who are full of enthusiasm and hope for success, while being lured by the comforts of life in Jakarta, which is abundant, but at the same time haunted by fear of failure and fed up with the density and noise during rush hour in Jakarta.
"Initially, I just wanted to learn orchestration because I was interested in the various elements of acoustic music that could be explored and creatively developed. The inspiration to write this piece came when I was working on my final assignment to compose an orchestral composition at Berklee, along with the process of studying in the 6th semester, which was filled with internships and field research. Not to mention, preparations for concerts and festivals continued amidst the process," said Noni to journalists at the Music Video launch in Jakarta, on Sunday (07/07/2024).
According to the singer of "Bukan Milikmu" and "Goodbye," the process of writing this piece became a sort of "escape" for her, a place where she poured out her feelings during her daily life in the 6th semester in Jakarta. From morning until night, from the hustle and bustle of rush hour to the struggle to maintain grades, both at the university and at Berklee.
"All of this is reflected in "Ingar Bingar," a reflection of my daily emotions last year during the 6th semester, from waking up until the usually emotionally charged nights," she explained.

Noni Dju, known as an alumni of the project Di Atas Rata Rata by Erwin Gutawa and Gita Gutawa's first generation, has shown her talent in the field of music since a young age. With education from Berklee and her experience in the music world, 23-year-old Noni now performs as a young composer and orchestrator ready to bring a breath of fresh air to the Indonesian music scene through her contemporary orchestra project, Simfoni Kilas.
Inspired by the word 'glance', this project aims to present the intensity and depth of orchestral music in a short time, similar to the duration of popular music in the current era. Listeners can feel the richness of emotions and styles from the Romantic and Modern periods in a shorter time.
"With the music video 'Ingar Bingar', I want to capture the essence of Jakarta's life, which is often busy and crowded, as well as the comfort that is always haunted by fear of failure," she explained.
"Through the collaboration between visuals and orchestration, I hope the audience can feel the restlessness as well as the beauty of the composition Ingar Bingar," she added.

This project was produced by Noni Dju herself, with Simon Aloysius Mantiri as the executive producer. The composition of "Ingar Bingar" was played by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, which is known for its quality performance.
The music video for "Ingar Bingar," directed by Kaleb Sitompul and Noni Dju, features the unique performance of Woro Mustiko, who skillfully portrays the exhaustion and deep spirit of a determined individual pursuing their dreams amidst the hustle and bustle of the capital city.
This music, which combines elements of the Romantic and Modern periods, accompanies a visually stirring journey, creating an extraordinary audiovisual experience.
