Reygi Yovantino Proves Existence With Third Single 'Hanya Bisa Diam'

Kapanlagi.com - Reygi Yovantino shakes up the Indonesian music industry with his latest work titled Hanya Bisa Diam (HBD). Perhaps most of the Indonesian people are still unfamiliar with that name. However, who would have thought that Reygi actually has an extraordinary singing ability, even though this 26-year-old Indramayu-born man rarely or even never participates in talent search events in Indonesia.

Reygi himself started his career in the professional music industry when he participated in an audition held by the Indonesian music label PRO-M in 2019. The label was looking for a soloist to be contracted to collaborate with them at that time.

However, Reygi's journey with the label was not as smooth as expected, as his project was delayed for 2 (two) years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Because of that, Reygi was only able to release his first song in 2021.

The first song created by Bemby Noor titled Jatuh Cinta Terakhir Kali although the result was not as expected by the label or Reygi himself, it did not deter Reygi and the label from continuing to work in the professional music industry.

After a few months, but in a different year, Reygi finally released his second single, which is a re-cycle of a song by an Indonesian diva, Ruth Sahanaya, titled Derita Kesayanganku. In terms of music and song, Reygi managed to make this single sound more contemporary. And of course, with the character and technique he possesses, he was able to perform this song perfectly, in accordance with its original tone.

Not only that, on July 7, 2023, Reygi finally released his third single titled Hanya Bisa Diam. This song was actually sung by a musician in 2019. Unfortunately, shortly after this song was released, the musician named Dude Baratha passed away.

That is why the label decided to have this song sung again by Reygi. Although in a different version. However, the label agrees that this song sounds more alive when performed by Reygi.

Due to his good vocal quality, Reygi himself is often asked to perform high-pitched songs like You Raise Me Up, She's Gone, and others, when attending an event or doing a live broadcast on his social media.
