Ready to Enliven the Music Industry of the Homeland, Maira Dreams of Collaborating with Fatin

Maira has just been signed by a major label like Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI). A single is being prepared to be Maira's first weapon in navigating the music industry of the homeland.

"I am very grateful for this sudden excitement. First, it's like a dream, I am trusted by Sony Music to collaborate in releasing my first song. Then secondly, I was asked to participate in preparing various assets for my single, things that feel like practice from what I learned during college," said Maira enthusiastically.

1. Want to Collaborate with Fatin

Seeing Maira's appearance in hijab, many speculate that Maira will replace Fatin who is equally talented. However, Maira denies this. According to her, she and Fatin have differences in music, but she is very happy to collaborate or work together with Fatin.

“In terms of music, we are very different. We are both women, we both wear hijab, we are both musicians, but I have no intention of replacing Kak Fatin. Instead, I look forward to working with her,” said Maira as she prepared to return to the studio.

2. Musical Journey Since Childhood

Music has been a part of Maira's life since childhood. She was born into a family that loves music. Her father, mother, and siblings also enjoy music.

“Music has been a part of our daily life, as far as I can remember, from enjoying listening to music to playing around with music,” she said.

“Why do I say playing around with music? Because our family loves jamming, but we never thought of becoming musicians. But well, it's God's will, so here I am,” continued the woman who graduated from Bina Nusantara University majoring in Visual Communication Design.

3. Potential New Singer

Meanwhile, Keke Kananta, A&R from Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, admits to seeing great potential in Maira. He believes that with Maira's talent, she will become one of the great female soloists in Indonesia.

"I believe that Maira has great potential in music, and we have faith in her and place our hopes on her. Fortunately for us, Maira is very easy to discuss with and trusts us. So let's wait together," said Keke.
