Rizky Febian and Anya Geraldine Make Fans Emotional with the Single 'Cuek'

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Rizky Febian has just released the music video for his latest song titled Cuek. In this song, the son of comedian Sule invited artist and celebrity Anya Geraldine as the model for the music video.

Interestingly, just a few days after its release, the song immediately trended on YouTube. Of course, this made Rizky Febian feel happy and grateful because the song Cuek was well-received by the public.

"We should be happy because the 'Cuek' music video is trending, Alhamdulillah, and it has received positive responses from many people. It's an extraordinary and meaningful anticipation for me," said Rizky Febian at Studio 41, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/8/2020).

1. Ready for the Concept of the Single Trilogy

Rizky admitted that he was surprised because the song Cuek was well received by the public. However, this song itself was truly made with a different concept from previous songs.

"Actually, I was surprised. Because the song Cuek is me trying a new concept. So it's a love trilogy, like there are three songs in one story, so everything is one story. Starting from the first song, which is Cuek, and the next one is still related, the third single too," said Rizky.

"So I'm excited. The first thing I thought about was a positive response from many people and also their response that they were really carried away by the music video. They liked the song, especially the most important thing is that they liked the song," he added.

2. Making Music Lovers Emotional

The singer, who is familiarly called Iki, said that the song Cuek was really written as simply as possible so that the lyrics could be understood by the listeners. Meanwhile, Rizky wanted to make music lovers emotional through the visuals presented in the music video for Cuek.

"Actually, why Cuek? Because it's related to people out there. Then I wanted to make a song that is not heavy, wanted the story to be simple but made heavier by the music video. People listen to easy-to-listen songs, people try to digest the meaning of the song in a simple way, maybe with everyday words. But I try to make people out there emotional with the music video I made," he concluded.
