In a written statement on Wednesday (22/11), they stated that the news is purely a hoax.

"Regarding the circulating information about the Xyloband return rate of Coldplay concert in Indonesia, which is said to be 52%, we as the public relations consultant for Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023 Jakarta would like to clarify that the information is incorrect," they said.

Furthermore, they mentioned that the number of Xyloband returns at the Coldplay concert in Jakarta reached 77 percent.

"Coldplay management has confirmed to the promoters, TEM Presents and PK Entertainment, that the Xyloband return rate for the Coldplay concert held on November 15, 2023, at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta is 77%," they continued.

2. Lighting Effects

Xyloband itself is a concert attribute that can help with lighting effects when music is played. As reported by Kompas.com, Xyloband is a bracelet that contains small colored light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and a radio frequency receiver.

Although equipped with small lights, the light-emitting feature on the Xyloband bracelet cannot be controlled by the user themselves, but can only be controlled by the party distributing the bracelet, in this case, the music concert committee.
