Raisa and Dewa 19 Successfully Enliven 'Festival Sound of Unity'

Kapanlagi.com - Music festivals continue to emerge with extraordinary concepts. One of them is the Sound of Unity music festival initiated by Hogers Indonesia. This festival successfully brings together the excitement of automotive and music lovers in one place.

As if answering the festival goers, entertainment seekers, and automotive enthusiasts, Sound of Unity was successfully held at Community Park PIK 2 on November 12, 2023, thanks to the support of sponsors who helped organize it until the event ended.

Through a series of lively events, Sound of Unity managed to bring the enthusiasm of the audience who attended. Starting from drag races, music festivals, to culinary tenants in the venue, they were crowded with visitors.

Specifically for drag races, this activity was held the day before, on November 11 to November 12, 2023. The presence of drag races became one of the unique features of Sound of Unity.

For the music festival, the audience started to arrive at Community Park PIK 2 since 2:00 PM. With big names like Coconuttreez, Iwa K, ADA Band, MALIQ & D'essentials, Raisa, Dewa 19 ft. Ello and Virzha, and DJ Winky as the line-up, the scorching weather did not diminish their enthusiasm.

The Sound of Unity event was opened with a performance by Coconuttreez at 4:00 PM. In their performance, this Reggae band performed their hit songs such as Lagu Santai, Kembali, and Welcome to My Paradise. At the end of their performance, Coconuttreez gave good news to Reggae music fans in Indonesia. They will release a full album at the end of December. "So, we will release a full album at the end of December 2023. This will also be a tribute to our friends who have passed away. Oh yeah, one of the songs in the upcoming album will also feature a singer from Jamaica," they said on stage (12/11/23).

1. Iwa K was Also There

After Coconuttreez's performance, it was the turn of Indonesian hip-hop legend Iwa K to perform. Still bringing hits like Bebas and Malam Ini Indah, Iwa K was able to make the atmosphere more lively. At the end of his performance, Iwa K revealed that he will release a collaboration album with Ipang Lazuardi.

Continuing with ADA Band's performance, the lineup presented by Sound of Unity in the afternoon seemed to unleash nostalgia for people who grew up with music from the 90s to the early 2000s.

After the Maghrib break, the gentle breeze that colored Community Park PIK 2 was complemented by the performance of MALIQ & D'Essentials. The audience sang along until the last song, which was Pilihanku.

After MALIQ & D'Essentials, one of Indonesia's best female soloists, Raisa, performed to satisfy the desires of her fans. Wearing a black dress with bling-bling ornaments and a matching blazer, Raisa looked perfect for the Sound of Unity atmosphere that night.

After opening her performance with the song Pemeran Utama, Raisa told the audience not to be melancholic all the time.

“Stop being melancholic. You can be melancholic later. Let's just be happy here (Sound of Unity).” Raisa said on the Sound of Unity stage.

2. Dewa 19's Final Performance

In the middle of her performance, Raisa also invited the audience to turn on their flashlights during the song Jatuh Hati. Her performance ended with the song Kali Kedua. Dewa 19 was the last performer before DJ Winky. Together with Ello, Dewa 19 rocked the stage with the songs Pangeran Cinta and followed by Arjuna. The Baladewa also crowded the stage and sang along. On this stage, Dewa 19 ft. Ello performed one of the best songs of all time, Bohemian Rhapsody. It was clear that everyone immediately joined in singing Queen's song. After that, it was Virzha's turn to take the stage and perform Perempuan Paling Cantik di Negeriku Indonesia. Ahmad Dhani also contributed his voice as the lead vocalist in the song Sedang Ingin Bercinta. Total performance of Dewa 19 ft Ello and Virzha is approximately 1 hour, with the best songs such as Roman Picisan and Kangen that cannot be missed.

After Dewa 19, it's DJ Winky's turn to take over the stage of Sound of Unity until the event ends at midnight.

In addition to music performances and drag races, Sound of Unity, initiated by HOGERS Indonesia, also provides a place for SME actors.There are many SME tenants at Sound of Unity, ranging from culinary to automotive.

Several original Indonesian products also performed at Sound of Unity such as E-Run Ecobike, Tegep Boots, MaxxWire, and Rob One.For culinary tenants, from afternoon until the event ends, they are always crowded with visitors.Especially the beverage tenants, considering the quite scorching weather there.
