Hindia is the stage name of Baskara Putra. One of his viral songs is "Secukupnya" which was released in 2019. Having a number of indie music genre songs that are enjoyable for his fans, Hindia has gained quite a number of fans.

However, the viral video clips on social media showing Hindia's concert atmosphere that is different from usual concerts, led many netizens to speculate that Hindia follows the satanic movement and many of his fans were disappointed and questioned the truth of it. 1. The Beginning of Indonesia is Called to Spread the Satanic Flow

The rumor of Indonesia being called to follow and spread the satanic flow began when a Tiktok account @secretpieh shared a snippet of a Hindia concert video on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. In the video, Hindia, in the middle of the concert, performed the song "Matahari Tenggelem" and asked the audience to close their eyes using the cloth they had brought. The audience was also presented with the presence of a statue commonly referred to as Baphomet, which is a satanic symbol.

In addition, the video also showed a stage screen with illuminati symbols. This is what later sparked debate among netizens. Although there were defenders, many netizens accused Hindia of adhering to satanic and illuminati beliefs, especially because the lyrics of the song "Matahari Tenggelam" were interpreted as praying for everyone to go to hell.

2. Hindia's Casual Response

Despite the unusual rumors surrounding him, Hindia remains calm and responds to them as usual. The singer, born in 1994, directly addressed the rumors through his Twitter account or X, @wordfangs.

"Praise God for being considered illuminati. Does this mean I am already considered successful?" wrote Baskara Putra on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Baskara's tweet received many comments from netizens. Many of them also did not expect Baskara to be accused of being an illuminati follower.
"It's not complete if a musician hasn't been accused of being illuminati. Congrats Bas, you're already verified successful," wrote one netizen @letterelia.

However, there were also netizens who questioned the controversial concert concept and the use of statue props that were suspected to be satanic symbols.
"Whether illuminati or not, the lyrics of the songs and the stage theme are still disturbing. Among various stage themes, why choose that one?" wrote @gloOomysundae.
