See Audience Wearing Metal Clothes Singing the Song Lantas, Juicy Luicy: So Respectful!

Kapanlagi.com - Performing at the Balkonjazz Festival 2022 held at Gasblock Balkondes PGN Karangrejo, Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, on Saturday (14/5), Juicy Luicy had to perform under heavy rain. Nevertheless, thousands of audience members present did not move from their spots.

In this situation, Juicy Luicy was hesitant whether the audience would disperse or not. Seeing the audience's response, representing Juicy Luicy, the vocalist Julian Kaisar or affectionately called Uan felt touched.

"Very touched. It's like it's okay to rain. They sang along from the beginning, like healing longing," said Uan after the performance.

1. Impressed

Moreover, when their new song titled Tampar was performed, seeing the audience's response who already memorized the lyrics, made Uan and the crew impressed.

"The most impressive thing is when we performed our new single and the audience already memorized it. The lyrics are about tears being covered by rain when it rains. Everyone supported us, it was so exciting," Uan said.

2. Bring Their Hit Songs

Performing for about 60 minutes, this band from Bandung brought their hit songs. Behind the scenes, Kembali Kesepian, Jemari, Mawar Jingga, and Lantas were not left out from their song list. Their lyrics, which seemed sentimental and easy listening, turned out to be related to thousands of attendees present. Moreover, from the stage, Uan saw one of the attendees who really delved into the lyrics of Lantas.

"Then there was a guy alone, wearing a metal shirt, and singing our song Lantas. It was like the biggest award. A guy who wears a metal shirt but sings our song is really respectful," explained Uan.

3. Become an Example

The presence of the Balkonjazz Festival 2022 with a stage concept in the middle of green rice fields and backed by hills, is hoped that Uan and his friends can become an example for other organizers. According to him, a beautiful venue also affects the mood of musicians on stage.

"This can be an example for other regions. This region is already cool and this event helps to promote the region as well. We musicians also enjoy playing at events with this kind of concept," Uan concluded.
