Shooting Music Video for New Song with Aris Idol, Arfa Band Still Appear Compact Wearing Batik

Kapanlagi.com - After going through the recording process, Arfa Band recently went through the process of shooting a music video for their latest single, Jalan Lurusmu. In this single, which is planned to be released to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday, Arfa Band is not alone. They will collaborate with Aris Idol.

This religious single, created by Dido, tells the story of a personal journey. It depicts the experience of someone who has tried their best, but the results did not meet their expectations. This single aims to remind people to continue doing good deeds even if their efforts do not yield the desired outcomes.

"The process was quite challenging. It was delayed for a while, and we gathered first and recorded the vocals. Initially, we included a little bit in our first single. We made it acoustic, to make it more soothing and appropriate. We practiced a lot," said Kevin, the guitarist of Arfa Band, during the shooting of the music video in the Bekasi area.

Aris, who has been friends with Kevin for a long time, admits that he is happy to be invited to collaborate on this project. Although he is used to singing, there is a challenge in performing religious songs, where he has to truly understand every lyric.

"If the memorization process must be deepened, not arbitrary, because this religious song is different from other songs. Religious songs must be deeply understood. As for featuring, the melody is okay, there is no problem with the division. Initially, there were difficulties but eventually, it can be done," said Aris.

2. Preserving Batik

Arfa Band still maintains its characteristic in the music video Jalan Lurusmu. They and Aris wear batik, which is loved by Arfa Marqia, the vocalist.

"From the first single, the concept has been batik. Why batik? Well, to invite young people to preserve their own culture, especially batik. Because even foreigners like batik, why shouldn't we? And batik doesn't have to be related to parents," concluded Arfa.
