Kapanlagi.com - The annual music festival Soundfest is back this year on a larger scale. Held at Gambir Expo, Jakarta, Soundfest 2025 will take place over three days, from May 23 to 25.
Carrying the theme Magical Jakarta, this music event organized by PT Maspro Group Indonesia will feature 68 performers from both domestic and international acts. Two special highlights will be the main attractions this year, namely the hologram performance of Glenn Fredly and a tribute to Linkin Park by the Portuguese band, Hybird Theory.
"We have two headliners with a nostalgic concept. There will be Holographic Glenn Fredly. We will also showcase Hybird Theory to commemorate Linkin Park, and they are coming directly from Portugal," said Ryan Novianto, the Programme Director of Soundfest, during a press conference in the Thamrin area of Central Jakarta on Thursday (15/5/2025).
The lineup of confirmed performers includes various genres and generations, featuring both national and international musicians. This number is the highest in the history of Soundfest.
"In Jakarta, we have a final lineup of 68 performers over three days. These are national and international performers," Ryan added.
Not only offering music performances, Soundfest 2025 also expands the festival experience by presenting various thematic zones. There are a total of four main stages and three supporting areas that enhance the event's appeal.
"This is a local IP from young people who are always enthusiastic and making improvements. Including this Magical Soundfest. We always guarantee ease up to the handling on site. Soundfest 2025 will also have a behind-the-game area. Moreover, audience members who have musical works can submit them to our digital platform for promotion," explained Wahyudi, VP Digital Lifestyle Nuon Digital Indonesia.

One of the performers this year, Gugun Blues Shelter, is excited about the invitation to perform at Soundfest. Gugun said this is the first opportunity for his group to perform at the festival.
“Definitely we will mix new songs or our old songs. And the performance will definitely be new, because there is a change in personnel. Younger, fresher. The most certain thing is with a more modern sound,” Gugun explained.
The line-up for Soundfest 2025 is also enlivened by a series of other renowned musicians. Starting from Abdul & The Coffee Theory, Ali, Anindy, D’Masiv, Denny Caknan, DJ Una, DJ Yasmin, Efek Rumah Kaca, Faris Adam (Stecu), Feel Koplo, For Revenge, J-Rocks, JKT48, Juicy Luicy, to Kris Dayanti, all are participating.
The organizers also continue to uphold the identity of Soundfest as a collaborative space. Chairman of PT Maspro Group Indonesia, Pulung, emphasized that ticket prices are kept affordable so that they can be enjoyed by various groups.
“Although we are moving locations, we continue to bring the hallmark of Soundfest, which is as a platform for the community to collaborate and create together. Therefore, Soundfest is priced quite reasonably, around Rp200 thousand per day and Rp400 thousand for three days,” said Pulung.
Soundfest Jakarta 2025 is expected to be a space for expression and celebration for music lovers in the country. With a lineup of artists across genres and community programs, this festival reaffirms its position as one of the largest music agendas in the capital.
