Starting from Collaboration on Stage, Rocket Rockers Release a Cover Single 'April' by Fiersa Besari

Kapanlagi.com - Despite having to be active in the midst of a pandemic, the Bandung-based pop-punk trio Rocket Rockers never seem to run out of energy to entertain their listeners. After collaborating with Stand Here Alone by releasing the single 'Maha Benar', this time Aska (Vocals, Guitar), Bisma (Bass), and Ozom (Drums) once again entertain the Rocket Rockfriends by releasing a cover song by Fiersa Besari titled April, on Friday (24/4/2020).

Previously, these two musicians from Bandung often performed collaboratively. Take for example their performance at Synchronize Festival 2019, where Rocket Rockers even performed in the same lineup as Fiersa Besari. Far from that moment, collaboration has also been established since Fiersa covered the song 'Hari Untukmu'.

The selection of the song April to be performed by Rocket Rockers originated from their collaborative performance session at Synchronize Festival 2019.

"April has its own challenges. Unique title, lyrics with straightforward language style, slow typical ballad tempo, strong acoustic nuance, so those are some things we considered to 'mess up' the song. How can we make this song completely different from the original. The lyrics can be melancholic, but it should be enjoyable for RRF to mosh and jump around while enjoying it," explained Bisma.

Furthermore, Rocket Rockers considers Fiersa Besari as a complete artist with various creative outputs besides music.

In addition to releasing April, you can also get closer to Rocket Rockers in this pandemic situation, because they release podcasts, web series, and lots of digital content to accompany your days #StayAtHome.

"The entire content production process is done with a minimalist team. The basecamp is transformed into a studio. Despite being productive, the production process still adheres to the safety and health standards set by the Government," concluded Bisma.

April by Rocket Rockers is now available for listening on various digital platforms and on the YouTube channel.
