Tamima Spreads a Message of Love for Parents Through the Single 'Tak Selamanya'

Tamima Pramundito, also known as Tamima, will soon release a song titled Tak Selamanya (Not Forever). The lyrics of this song, created by her father, Ari Pramundito, talk about spending time with parents.

“We can't always be with our parents forever. That's why, when our parents are still with us, be grateful and always love them,” said the sweet girl who was born in Jakarta on September 13, 2013.

Tamima's family name may sound familiar to Indonesian music enthusiasts. Ari Pramundito is a guitarist for the band Gruvi, which gained popularity in the 2000s and has also released two solo albums, namely Funk Me (2007) and I'll Do (2012). It's no wonder that Ari's love for music flows through Tamima, who has even created her first song at the age of seven with the title Just Dance while still in the third grade of elementary school for a school assignment.

“My first song was made just enough to fulfill the school assignment. Meanwhile, this second single was made more seriously with better quality so that I can have works with good standards in the future,” she said.

Entering the recording studio for the first time turned out to be quite challenging for Tamima. Although it wasn't easy, Tamima was still happy to be given the opportunity to release a song in the Indonesian music market for the first time.

“The challenge lies in how to embody the song and also in vocal technique. Fortunately, my recording was able to be completed in two hours,” said the fan of Ariana Grande and the Korean girl band New Jeans.

“I'm really happy. If until now I could only listen to people singing on digital music platforms or CDs, now I can do the same and enter the music industry. I received a lot of support, both from my parents and school. The school itself provides flexibility, making it easier to manage time for studying and singing,” she continued.

“I hope that the song will be heard and liked by people. The message I want to convey through this song also reaches those who listen to this single. I want to always be able to release new songs, have many fans who always support me, and be able to sing on many stages performing my own songs,” she concluded.
