Trying to Create with a Touch of Pop Ballad, Sisca Saras Releases 'Tak Berakhir Sama'

Kapanlagi.com - As we enter the year 2025, the Indonesian music scene is becoming more vibrant with the arrival of new works, one of which is from Sisca Saras. She officially released the single 'Tak Berakhir Sama'. This song marks Sisca's first ballad that carries the theme of separation and is hoped to accompany listeners who are experiencing heartache.

This single was written by Clara Riva and produced by KREATE with a deep audio quality touch. The production process was led by Wecord Evermore Indonesia as the Executive Producer, with musical contributions from Trinanda Imawan Wibisono (keys & synth), Pefiri and Trinanda Imawan Wibisono (strings), and Pefiri (drums & programming).

The guitar play was perfected by Dimas RID, while the drum recording was done at Ebony Ivory Studio by Sinyo Luntungan and Andrew Setiawan. Sisca's vocals were recorded at Sony Music Studio, directed by Bowo Soulmate, recorded by Yusuf Albantani, and edited by Pefiri. Mixing and mastering were entrusted to Dimas Pradipta at Sum It Studio, with the Atmos Mixed process conducted by Edu Christanto.

1. A Relationship That Fails

This single was written by Sisca together with songwriter Clara Riva, created spontaneously without the intention of connecting it to previous works. However, Sisca admits that Tak Berakhir Sama can be interpreted as an emotional continuation of two previous singles, Terbawa Suasana and Cinta Setara.

“It was initially made as Terbawa Suasana, but after going through it, they don’t have Cinta Setara which makes them become Tak Berakhir Sama,” she said jokingly.

This song tells the story of a long relationship full of conviction but must end due to a storm that is too big to face together.

2. Often Happens Around

“I want to try making a sad/ballad song, so it’s not always upbeat. I chose this theme because it often happens around me,” she said.

In facing separation, Sisca shares her way of coping with sadness, which is to give herself time to feel sad and release emotions.

“I usually set a deadline for when I should stop questioning the situation. I allow myself to be as sad as I can, so that the pain will gradually fade away,” she added.

Sisca hopes this song can be accepted by many people and become a companion when they face separation. She also gives a message to those who are experiencing similar situations.
